This website was created in order to give in depth information towards the meaning behind Mark Twain's novel, A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court. 

A Connecticut Yankee In king Arthur's Court begins with a tale that is found in a journal.  It describes the adventure of Hank Morgan, a factory manager and metalworker who finds himself in Camelot after being hit on the head during a brawl.  He is placed in confinement when he arrives in Camelot but using his knowledge of future events he quickly gains power in Arthur's court.  By introducing new technology, Hank beings his quest to civilize the 6th century.  But his attempt to overthrow the established church and gain power for his own leads to his evetual demise.
